Be kind to yourself and others.
Introduction
The world has seen rapid development in areas such as automobiles, airplanes, the internet, smartphones, and AI technology, making people’s lives more convenient, albeit in certain regions. However, on the flip side, there are still significant challenges such as war, poverty, hunger, water crises, earthquakes, and other disasters causing immense suffering to many.
It’s evident that global wealth is unevenly distributed, and even those who have acquired wealth often find it challenging to provide support, despite having the intention to do so. While various activists and volunteer organizations conduct fundraising activities and provide aid, there are still numerous challenges present.
The world has set Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at United Nations conferences, many of which can be addressed by eliminating poverty.
Our team at Link Verse is dedicated to tackling these significant global issues through blockchain technology. We aim to collaborate with companies and individuals who have already sponsored us, as well as those who will join us in the future, to create a more sustainable and wonderful world. Together, we will work hand in hand as the world’s largest community to make a difference.
Number of People in Need of Assistance
There are approximately 736 million people living below the poverty line as defined by the World Bank.
Among them, half are children who are forced to endure difficult lives every day, unable to help themselves.
Additionally, each year, around 160 million people are affected by disasters worldwide, resulting in the loss of approximately 100,000 lives and causing damage exceeding $400 billion (average from 1970 to 2008).
Moreover, looking at the past decade, the number of occurrences and affected individuals has tripled compared to the 1970s.
Mission of Link Verse
Current charitable activities often struggle to capture and reflect the small contributions made by individuals. Volunteer organizations raise funds for significant aid efforts, but a large portion of these funds are spent on overhead costs, limiting the assistance that reaches those in need.
With the widespread adoption of the internet and blockchain technology, we aim to create a world where everyone looks out for each other and lends a helping hand to each person in need.
Our goal is to envision a world where everyone supports and connects with each other, much like the principles of blockchain.
Challenges with Traditional Fundraising and Expenses
Traditional fundraising methods that do not utilize cryptocurrency face various issues and challenges. Firstly, there’s the issue of fundraising expenses. Some organizations allocate expenses that range from around 15% to over 50% of the fundraising amount, even in cases where the collected funds are minimal.
Additionally, there’s a lack of transparency regarding how the raised funds are utilized and whether they reach their intended recipients.
Wasteful spending and opaque accounting practices are currently major concerns.
By leveraging blockchain technology, it becomes possible to track where the funds are being sent and how they are being used. The details of transactions can provide clarity on how funds are being allocated.
Being able to verify where and how donations are utilized, and the impact they have, can expand the reach of fundraising efforts and foster a positive cycle of support.
Direct Delivery System: LKVS
LKVS stands for a cryptocurrency based on the ERC-20 standard.
It is a completely innovative fundraising system that incorporates blockchain technology to enable direct delivery of support.
Users registered with LKVS have their assets managed within a wallet.
They can directly send cryptocurrency to individuals or communities in need who are suffering from poverty or disasters.
Once the cryptocurrency is transferred, it is automatically sent to registered suppliers of necessary goods for purchase. These goods are then delivered to the individuals in need.
Rather than sending funds directly to users, donors have the option to send payments to suppliers of goods. This enables the purchase and delivery of goods on behalf of the individuals or communities in need.
All transactions are recorded on the blockchain, allowing everyone to verify the transaction history.
Tipping System
LKVS not only facilitates conventional fundraising activities but also incorporates a tipping system to enable support from individuals. This system allows for assistance to individuals facing challenges such as children suffering from incurable diseases or individuals who have become physically disabled due to accidents or disasters and are struggling to pursue their dreams.
The LKVS wallet can be integrated with any service, and by linking it to public applications, transaction histories can be automatically retrieved. With this functionality, direct support can be provided to users who have posted videos or content on existing social media platforms.
This support feature extends beyond traditional fundraising activities and can be utilized as a tipping function across various services.
Donation System Utilizing Points
LKVS ensures liquidity through its proprietary token economy. Many of you may have accumulated various points through purchases or subscriptions to services, which often remain unused and dormant for long periods.
Participants in LKVS, such as point issuers, can link their wallets and applications to exchange unused points for LKVS tokens. These tokens can then be used for donations or tipping.
Users holding points can effectively utilize their dormant points, while point issuers gain exposure on various social media platforms, thereby benefiting from advertising and promotional effects.
Acquiring Cryptocurrency and Donating
LKVS is scheduled to be listed on various exchanges in the future. You can purchase cryptocurrency on these exchanges.
The purchased cryptocurrency can be used for donations even from the exchange platform itself.
Alternatively, you can transfer the cryptocurrency to the LKVS wallet for more convenient usage.
