While various activists and volunteer organizations conduct fundraising activities and provide aid, there are still numerous challenges present.
The world has set Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at United Nations conferences, many of which can be addressed by eliminating poverty.
Our team at Link Verse is dedicated to tackling these significant global issues through blockchain technology. Number of People in Need of Assistance
There are approximately 736 million people living below the poverty line as defined by the World Bank.
Among them, half are children who are forced to endure difficult lives every day, unable to help themselves.
Additionally, each year, around 160 million people are affected by disasters worldwide, resulting in the loss of approximately 100,000 lives and causing damage exceeding $400 billion (average from 1970 to 2008).
Moreover, looking at the past decade, the number of occurrences and affected individuals has tripled compared to the 1970s.
Mission of Link Verse
Current charitable activities often struggle to capture and reflect the small contributions made by individuals. Volunteer organizations raise funds for significant aid efforts, but a large portion of these funds are spent on overhead costs, limiting the assistance that reaches those in need.
With the widespread adoption of the internet and blockchain technology, we aim to create a world where everyone looks out for each other and lends a helping hand to each person in need.
